Ebi Sushi

My experience at Ebi Sushi was exceptional. I tasted true freshness and craftsmanship from their Japanese sushi chef, whose skill and attention to detail are evident in every bite. The sushi was beautifully prepared, delicately balanced, and rich with clean, pure flavours. The sushi rice deserves special praise — it is the best I’ve ever tasted in the UK. Perfectly seasoned, warm, and with just the right texture, it elevates every piece to another level. Ebi Sushi offers an outstanding, authentic sushi experience where quality and technique truly shine. It’s a place I would happily return to again and again. いちばん 👍🏻

Authentic Japanese restaurant. Food quality, freshness, taste and presentation was very good. A wide variety of options from sushi to sashimi to grilled dishes available. The hot sake is a must try with the food. Limited opening times, therefore a booking is definitely recommended. Prices are a bit towards the plus side as expected. Good service and paid parking available across the street.

We absolutely loved our time at Ebi sushi. The atmosphere was amazing, the service was immaculate and to see the sushi chef preparing sushi meals in front of you was an unforgettable experience. The food was fresh, absolutely scrumptious and unique. I really liked Japanese pickles, sushi were sooo tasty and pudding (cheesecake), OMG!!!, one of the best ones in Derby: fresh, not too sweet and has an ideal combination of texture and flavour. My family and I highly recommend Ebi Sushi. P.S. It's better to book a table in advance to avoid disappointment. It was absolutely packed when we went there.

The food in Ebi is superb. This is one of the best Japanese restaurant so far I tried in UK. Assorted Sashimi is the most I like, make me feel like dining in Japan. Chef and staffs are Japanese too.

Very authentic Japanese restaurant!! One of the best that I have ever had in the UK. The sashimi is really good and udon is very nice. A little bit expensive but definitely worth the price. Pay to display parking right in front of the restaurant so easy to get there by car.

I had been to Ebi Sushi for the first time, but i absolutely loved it!! The food & the hospitality was fabulous.I loved sitting in front of the chef while he made sushis and he also made some new combinations which i absolutely loved! Definitely one of my favourite places to go to!! Will see u soon Ebi Sushi!

Each piece of sushi was perfection, with incredibly fresh ingredients and flavours that truly stood out. Yes, it is expensive, but it’s worth every single penny. The fact that the restaurant was packed with Japanese customers speaks volumes about the quality and authenticity of the food. If you’re a sushi lover, Ebi Sushi is an absolute must-visit. You’ll leave feeling that you’ve experienced something truly special.
